Cakes with buttercream icing may be kept on the counter for a day or two but the freshness will rapidly decline as opposed to keeping them in a fridge.
Cakes are best stored in the refrigerator and will keep fresh for up to 1 week.
Cakes may be frozen. Be sure the packaging is airtight and allow them to thaw 24 hours in a fridge before serving to avoid sweating or bleeding of colours.
A typical serving slice is 2" square or 1 cupcake per person.
Cover the edges of a cut cake with a little of the cake's icing to prevent it from drying out should you need to keep/freeze leftovers.
Some dark/brilliant colours require quite a bit of food colouring. This may cause a slight aftertaste, stain mouths and stain material. Sugar Shack Cakes will not be held responsible for any damages that may be caused from staining.
Cakes iced with a whipped topping must be kept refrigerated.
Royal icing decorations should not be frozen.
